San Pedro El Alto School

We are a nonprofit association created exclusively for the community of San Pedro El Alto. We serve children ages 2 to 10 through a personalized, multigrade educational model that respects and adapts to each student's academic level, with a strong emphasis on art and music. We nurture children with practical and socioemotional skills, engaging them in diverse, real-life activities within an infrastructure specially designed for them — featuring ample green spaces, nature, and forest.

Academic Programs

Multi-Age Model

At our school, children of different ages learn together in the same learning space. This way of working teaches them to collaborate, share what they know, and support one another, developing important social skills from an early age.

Explorers · Ages 3 to 6

At this stage, children learn naturally through play, exploration, and contact with nature. We respect each child's pace and individually assess when they are ready to begin writing, so the process is joyful and pressure-free. We prioritize their happiness and socialization.

Adventurers · Ages 6 to 10

Students strengthen their academic and personal skills through projects, mindful use of technology, and real-life experiences. Leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving are fostered within a curriculum accredited by the Ministry of Education.

Educational Model

Personalized Education

Our education is truly personalized. We have only two groups of a maximum of 8 to 10 children each, and one teacher for every 4 students. This ratio allows for close attention that respects each child's pace, adapts to their academic level, and enhances their development. Here, teachers act as mentors who accompany and empower each student individually.

Preparing Children for the Real World

At our school, education goes beyond academics. We raise children who are capable of applying what they learn and navigating the world with autonomy, empathy, and confidence.

Practical Skills

  • Manual skills (basic repairs, cooking, and household tasks)
  • Financial literacy (value of money, saving, and responsible decision-making)

Human Development

  • Social-emotional development (emotional regulation, empathy, and self-regulation)
  • Clear communication and conflict resolution
  • Autonomy and self-esteem

Different Learning

Learning by Doing, Exploring, and Creating

We believe that the most meaningful learning happens when children participate actively, explore their environment, and connect what they learn with real experiences. Through play, nature, art, movement, and integrated projects, they develop academic, social, and emotional skills in an authentic and meaningful way.

Creativity and Expression

Art and Music: Pillars of Learning

Art and music are more than subjects; they are essential tools that are integrated into daily learning. They enhance the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, allowing them to explore the world and express themselves in a unique and meaningful way.

Art

Art stimulates imagination and personal expression. Through drawing, painting, and sculpture, children develop their visual thinking, learn to communicate ideas, and strengthen their creativity.

Music

Music enriches school life, fostering rhythm, coordination, and memory. It promotes teamwork, active listening, discipline, and imagination.

Facilities and Safety

An Environment Designed to Inspire and Protect

We believe that the environment also educates. That is why our facilities have been carefully designed to offer a safe, inspiring, and functional atmosphere, where every space fosters learning, exploration, and the well-being of our students. From our expansive natural areas to our technology-equipped classrooms, every corner of our school has been thoughtfully crafted to enrich the educational experience and provide each child with an environment where they can grow with confidence and joy.

🌿 Forest and Nature

More than 12,000 m² of living nature where children explore, investigate, and play. A forest adjacent to the school, safe and within the same community.

🌳 Green Areas and Gardens

Expansive outdoor spaces for learning, playing, and socializing in direct contact with nature. They support the physical and emotional development of students.

🏫 Classrooms

Spacious, warm, and well-organized classrooms adapted to each stage of development. They feature materials, reading corners, and resources that spark creativity and active learning.

💻 Technology

We integrate technology to enrich learning and strengthen digital skills. Elementary students have access to computers, and classrooms are equipped with screens for dynamic lessons.

Safety and Well-being: Our Priority

The safety and well-being of our students are a priority at every moment of the school day. We have created an environment where children can learn, explore, and grow with peace of mind, accompanied by a close-knit team and in a space that fosters their physical, emotional, and social development.

Zero Tolerance for Bullying

Bullying is not tolerated in any of its forms. Socio-emotional development is an essential pillar of our educational approach and the formation of our students.

A Safe Space Within Your Community

San Pedro El Alto is a safe environment, with well-maintained streets and private security. Its proximity allows families to walk or bike to school, making daily attendance easier and strengthening coordination between parents and children. No more traffic.

Safety Protocols

We have safety protocols and action plans in place that allow us to respond in an organized and timely manner.

Permanent Supervision

One teacher for every 4 children ensures that students are accompanied at all times by our teaching team, both inside and outside the classroom, promoting a safe and trusting environment.

Direct and Timely Communication with Families

We believe in a close and transparent relationship with families, maintaining constant communication about each student's development, well-being, and experiences.
